We decided to run a Food Hygiene certificate as a pilot activity for Summer Uni Enfield 2009. We ran two courses, one a stand - alone food hygiene certificate and one part of a week long cookery course.
Rita Hockman from RLH Training Limited was very professional and was able to adapt the course materials to meet the needs of a varying age range, whilst still making the course interactive, fun and interesting for the young people who attended.
99.9 % of the young people who attended the course passed with an accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and were very happy with the course.
We would now definitely run more Food Hygiene courses with RLH Training Limited in 2010 and beyond.

Dear Rita

I just wanted to thank you for the course that you ran as part of our Summer Uni programme in Enfield this year. The CIEH Level 1 Food Safety course was not only valuable for the young people that took part but it was also very interesting. As you know I was going to leave to go back to work after the young people were settled but found it so engaging that I stayed for the whole thing!

I think the way you presented the course was very appropriate for the teenage group that we had and the number of interesting questions that they asked was testament to the fact that they were fully engaged and wanted to learn more.
